About Amberspace

This is now the sixth incarnation of this site since its inception in September 1998. As I have transitioned so has this site's purpose. What started out as a stumblelog of links and a bio turned into a resource center and later a blog. In early 2007 Amberspace quite literally fell off the Internet after the previous host and I decided to let things go. Then a few months went by and I thought about things a bit more ... Maybe it wasn't such a bad thing to have Amberspace back? Maybe there's another purpose for it?

The new goal of Amberspace is to bring to the forefront other people's stories, not just my own. Many people I know have been through the transition pipeline and I think it's time to reflect on our journeys. With many of the tumultuous times of hormones, surgeries, legal runarounds, and changing relationships now in the past, what became of everyone? What's the reality beyond the perspective Hollywood and talk shows give us?
