Sunday, 2004.12.05:

  Mood-O-Meter: Good.

Wow. Life has been uber-hectic. Sorry about never updating this site anymore. Anyways...

Band. We're making progress and gelling a bit more. We've been making CDs of our practice performances and they're really starting to sound good. Wish us luck!

Music. My guitar just got restrung but I haven't seen it back yet. I can't wait to get my hands on it. I'm also looking around for some other serious music equipment. I've decided that in order to follow one's dreams you need to get the right tools.

Sports. I've been getting stronger at running. It's such a good feeling to hit those long, steep hills and push through the pain of stinging muscles to crest over each apex. I'm nowhere near my old level but all things considered I'm not doing too badly.

Moving. Helping people move really is a pain in the butt. My lil' hands are so sore and torn up from moving boxes, dresser units, computer monitors. Ugh. I used to say that I liked moving, but now I'm not so sure anymore.

Dancing. I like clubbing. I really need to move to a larger city. A friend and I ducked out of holiday party and escaped to the City. We tried out a club on Friday. Unfortuantely their main act cancelled that night---it was still pretty cool.

Internet. It looks like I'm going to lose my Internet access in a couple of weeks, so this site will probably go even longer without an update until I sort that one out.

Saturday, 2004.12.11:

  Mood-O-Meter: Good.

Amber hurt. Amber hurt bad. Amber did take beginner snowboard lesson. She try doing "falling leaf" and "garland" exercises. Amber fall a lot. Amber also get stupid idea in head to try intermediate blue square run. Amber ended up face planting many time down side of hard icy mountain side. She eventually make it down to lodge but now her tailbone and wrist ache. She make mental note to not be as aggressive next time.

Ow.

Amber have to help friend move next weekend too. Thinking of that make Amber hurt more.

Ow ow.

Monday, 2004.12.20:

  Mood-O-Meter: Abysmal.

In response to this morning's presidential news conference all I can say to the world:

I'm so very sorry.

Monday, 2004.12.27:

  Mood-O-Meter: Ecstatic.

2004
Lighted candy canes along your parent's driveway $15
Spiral cut honeyglazed ham $19
Going to the fireplace where your old stocking hangs and finding a brand new one with a tag in your dad's handwriting saying "Amber" priceless
I hope you had a good holiday season. Let's hope for the best in 2005!
