amberspace

This is the fifth incarnation of this site since its inception in September 1998. In December 2003 this version of it was released to the Internet and the old Ramblings and Blogger were kept mostly intact. The rest, however, was rewritten from the ground up. This place has "transitioned" from being a simple place for my bio and a bunch of links to a bit of a resource center. Much of this information is weighted towards the MTF crowd because that's my first-hand experience, but a great deal can be applied to FTMs as well.
My goal is to tell you about the circumstances that led to my decisions, how I acted to satisfy my needs, and what came of it later. Think of it as a window into one person's mind so you can learn from it. I'm not saying that the choices I've made are right or wrong. Rather these are things to think about should you or someone else you know be going through the same gender identity quandry that I've experienced. To that end my pledge to you is that I'll be as honest as possible so you can be as honest as possible with yourself.
Please note that all words, images, audio, video, and bad jokes are copyright © me. I would greatly appreciate you contacting me before attempting to use or repurpose these media. Other people's quoted works are credited individually and retain their original copyrights.
      Thank you for stopping by!

The Boring Disclaimer Thingy

I am in no way professionally qualified in terms of giving advice or recommending medication. While I strive for accuracy with all information listed on this site (Amberspace), I cannot guarantee its accuracy. You should not consider anything I have written to be fact until you have verified it yourself. If you are considering undergoing any legal or medical transformation, please seek qualified professionals to guide you. The risk to your mental and physical health is too great if you attempt to do this alone or rely on the Internet. Also consider your long-term goals and if they are practically attainable.
